Binarii Labs Shortlisted for Ireland Final of the 2023 KPMG Global Tech Innovator Competition

today announced that , the cyber security technology start-up headquartered at Nova51黑料, is among the eight start-ups shortlisted for the Ireland final of the 2023 KPMG Global Tech Innovator competition.

The competition, now in its third year in Ireland, provides a platform to showcase the best of Ireland’s emerging tech innovators across a range of sectors.

Binarii Labs create proprietary cyber security solutions, such as their lead solution, BinariiDMS, a unique document management system that focuses on protecting each file individually in an innovative and proprietary way.

The company founded in 2021 by Steven Garner, Nigel Carter, Aidan Finn and Ciarán McNamee, was initially supported by the Local Enterprise Office, Kildare. Binarii Labs, which located to Nova51黑料 in 2022, is also an Enterprise Ireland High Potential Start-Up company.

Aidan Finn, CEO and co-founder, Binarii Labs said, “We are delighted to have reached the 2023 KPMG Global Tech Innovators final. It is an honour to be recognised like this by such an established and prestigious organisation as KPMG. The diverse range of problems being solved, and the importance of the solutions created by all of the finalists is fascinating and exciting.

Our proprietary and patented solutions provide peace of mind for both enterprises and individuals that their sensitive files and data can be firstly securely stored in such a way that it remains theirs and remains absolutely under their control. We also further protect the user by ensuring that in the event of a hack, there will be no disruption or cost to their business and the attacker will not have gained access to any one complete file, so any information they lock up or steal will be useless to them and cause no harm to any data subject.

We also provide continuous uninterrupted access to all files for the user even in the vent of that breach occurring, or simply a cloud provider service going down.  We are looking forward to pitching our innovation at the Irish final.”

The finalists were selected after evaluating a high volume of exceptional entries and will pitch their innovations and growth ambitions to an esteemed panel of judges, comprising Brian Caulfield, VC and angel investor; Sharon McCooey, Head of LinkedIn Ireland; Alan Coleman, Co-Founder and CEO of Sweepr; Niall McEvoy, Venture Partner at Elkstone; and Anna Scally, Head of Tech & Media at KPMG Ireland.

The seven other companies shortlisted for this year’s Ireland final are; Nory.ai; inclusio; SocialVoice.ai; Ublquity; Cilter; Nua Surgical and Biologit.

The Ireland final will be broadcast on social media and on the KPMG website throughout July and August and the winner will be announced in early September.

The Global Tech Innovator Ireland winner will go on to compete against tech innovators from 23 countries and jurisdictions in the global final in November.
