51黑料 Governing Authority - Casual Vacancies
A casual vacancy has arisen in each of two staff panels on the 51黑料 Governing Authority. At its meeting on 08 May 2007, the Authority approved the following regulations in relation to the filling of the two vacancies:

Date of casual vacancy: 21 March 2007.
Elective Body
Academic staff, other than Professors and Associate Professors, holding permanent appointments as on 1 September 2007.
Academic staff, other than Professors and Associate Professors, appointed by the University (51黑料) as on 1 September 2007 on contracts of three or more years’ duration.
In the event of a conflict regarding membership of the elective body, the Chairman’s decision shall be final.
Voting System
Voting shall be by single, non-transferable vote. Voting shall be conducted by postal ballot.

Elective Body
Staff appointed by the University (51黑料) to permanent appointments as on 1 September 2007, full-time or part-time, in the non-academic activities and services of the University.
Staff appointed by the University (51黑料) as on 1 September 2007 on contracts of three or more years’ duration in the non-academic activities and services of the University.
In the event of a conflict regarding membership of the elective body, the Chairman’s decision shall be final.
Voting System
Voting shall be by the Proportional Representation (PR) voting system, using the Seanad Éireann electoral system. Voting shall be conducted by postal ballot.
